12th October 2008 - King to open several projects in Madinah (SPA)
Holy City of Madinah, Saudi Arabia, 12/10/2008
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz will inaugurate during a visit to Madinah starting tomorrow a number of electricity, water, health and development projects at the areas surrounding the Prophet's Mosque.
This was announced by Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah region, at a press conference here last night.
He noted that the King's visit to Madinah will witness launching of several development projects.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed said the Royal approval for treating Madinah as a Hajj zone effective from this year will have a positive impact and will enable the region extend excellent services to the pilgrims.
