25th November 2008 - Civil Defense finalizes Haj plan (AN)

A comprehensive Civil Defense plan will be implemented with the involvement of other concerned government departments according to Gen. Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Amro, commander of the Civil Defense's Hajj force. Al-Amro also commented that the Civil Defense is fully prepared to respond to all emergencies. Plans and measures have been put in place with regard to rains and flooding, and the Ministry of Hajj has assisted in raising awareness concerning the dangers of floods amongst foreign pilgrims before their arrival in the Kingdom.
