5th December 2008 - SR60m spent on road works for Haj (AN)

According to Transport Minister Jabara Al-Seraisry, SR60 million has been spent on road repair, electrification and car parks in Makkah and the holy sites for this year's Hajj.
Other projects and developments are coming together including new housing for pilgrims in Mina and the third floor of the Jamarat Bridge, which will be opened to pilgrims this year.
7,000 cleaning workers have been recruited by the Makkah Municipality to keep the city clean at all times.
