Saudi Gazette, 05/12/2008
Saudi Arabia will launch a no-smoking campaign under the Tobacco Control Program during this year's Hajj in order to ensure that the two holy cities and other ritual sites remain tobacco-free.
Dr. Abdullah Muhammad Bidah, Supervisor-General of the Tobacco Control Program (TCP) said the slogan "Make Arafat Day, a Quit Smoking Day" will be used as part of the campaign.
Bidah added that leaflets have been printed in 14 different languages and advertisements will appear on satellite television channels in 7 languages.
