Arab News, 21/06/2009
Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal spoke at a meeting of the executive committee of the Project for Development of Undeveloped Neighbourhoods in Makkah yesterday, and said the governorate was determined to overcome all obstacles before implementing the project. After the meeting, Prince Khaled was joined by other committee members in inspecting the King Abdul Aziz Road project, one of many projects planned for the Makkah region, and said the project "aims at offering the best services to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque in a manner befitting of the sanctity of Makkah and its standing in the Muslim world".
