22nd June 2009 - Lebanese woman hospitalized in Riyadh with H1N1 infection (AN)

A 25 year old Lebanese woman has been diagnosed with swine flu, bringing the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 35. The Ministry of Health is making extensive arrangements to host a 4-day workshop on how to prevent an H1N1 outbreak. After the workshop, experts will go to the Hajj terminal at the King Abdulaziz International airport as well as other locations where there tends to be large concentrations of pilgrims, in order to discuss ideas and suggestions for combating the disease.
