24th June 2009 - 170,000 doses of Meningitis vaccine to be procured for Hajj pilgrims (APP, Pakistan)

The Ministry of Religious Affairs is to procure approximately 170,000 doses of the Meningitis vaccine and the same number of auto destructive syringes to inoculate this year's intending Hajj pilgrims. Official sources said the vaccine will be available by the last week of August.
