29th June 2009 - Jeddah to have world’s largest kidney dialysis center (SG)

Jeddah's King Fahad Hospital is to have the world's largest kidney dialysis center in 18 months at an estimated cost of SR60 million. A contract was signed between the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Health yesterday. The Prince Abdul-Majeed Bin Abdul Aziz Center for Kidneys will have 140 dialysis machines, serving more than 800 renal failure patients.
