The workshop on precautionary measures for the seasons of Hajj and Umrah was concluded here today.
The workshop issued recommendations on precautionary measures to guard against the pandemic of swine influenza for the season of Umrah and Hajj.
The recommendations praised the Saudi national plan and precautionary measures to fight the pandemic of swine influenza.
The recommendations covered many issues including the importance of taking the seasonal influenza and swine flu vaccines.
Old pilgrims, those suffering from chronic diseases, children and pregnant women were advised to defer Umrah and Hajj for this year for their safety.
