8th November 2009 - 416,659 pilgrims arrive in Madinah (SPA)

As many as 416,659 pilgrims have so far arrived in Madinah, an increase of 8% in comparison with the number of the last year; 177,869 pilgrims left Madinah, an increase of 23%; and 238,743 pilgrims remained in the Prophet's city, the Secretariat of Hajj Committee in the city announced in a report today.
It pointed out that 17,046 pilgrims have arrived at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport; 17,764 pilgrims came by buses; and 24,649 left by buses for Makkah.
The Committee added that 7,371 pilgrims were provided health care at hospitals and health care centers in Madinah on Saturday.
