11th November 2009 - Pilgrims urged to take flu jabs as H1N1 drive set to start (AN)

The Ministry of Health H1N1 swine flu vaccination program is starting with the vaccination of domestic pilgrims and government employees, health workers around the Kingdom and those most vulnerable in the Holy Cities of Makah and Madinah. "The Ministry of Health has urged Saudi citizens and expatriates wishing to perform Haj and all those involved in Haj services to visit the nearest health centers in order to be vaccinated. Pilgrims are advised to take the vaccination at least 10 days before their pilgrimage."
