19th November 2009 - Palestinian Minister praises initiative to host 2,000 Palestinians
Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, 19/11/2009
Palestinian Minister of Endowments Mohammed Al-Habbash, who leads his country"s Hajj mission, today expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for hosting 2000 Palestinian pilgrims belonging to families of martyrs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Al-Habbash said that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has repeatedly offered such kind initiatives for the Palestinian people, citing examples of the monarch"s orders to provide relief assistance to the needy in Palestine.
He confirmed the commitment of Palestinian pilgrims to Hajj rituals and instructions.
