Saudi Gazette, 21/11/2009
The Grand Mosque in the Holy City of Makkah was filled to capacity on Friday when some two million Muslims performed Friday prayers. An additional 500,000 performed prayers in the Prophet's Mosque in the Holy City of Madinah. "Ministry of Haj officials in Madinah worked intensely with grouping centers to ease the traffic flow, which will continue and reach a peak over the Saturday and Sunday."
