26th November 2009 - Dr Khoja inspects offices of Ministry of Culture and Information in Arafat (SPA)

Arafat, November 26, SPA-- The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja made today a tour of offices of Ministry of Culture and Information in Arafat to inspect the works of covering this year"s Hajj season.
Dr. Khoja visited radio and TV studios and Saudi Press Agency (SPA) office in Arafat for broadcasting Hajj rituals.
On the inspection tour, the Minister was accompanied by Undersecretary of Ministry of Culture and Information for Foreign Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salamah; Director-General of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein; Director-General of Administrative and Financial Affairs Saadoun Al-Saadoun, and a number of the Ministry"s officials.
On the other hand, Dr. Khoja met at the headquarters of the Ministry here today with the guests of the Ministry of senior intellectual and literary personalities, researchers and scholars from Arab and Islamic states as well as media personnel performing hajj this year.
Dr. Khoja welcomed them, wishing them acceptable Hajj and safe return to their countries.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Khoja said, "What has been achieved in the holy sites of the giant projects particularly the great project of development of Jamarat Area as well as the project of Holy Sites Train which its implementation started last month of Muharram, in addition to other projects being currently implemented in the Two Holy Mosques and the Holy Sites embody the attention and care given to pilgrims by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud."
He added that the King directly supervises over all sectors related to services provided for pilgrims for the provision of the best services to enable pilgrims to perform their Hajj rituals easily and in a secure and stable environment.
The Minister of Culture and Information commended Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior, and Chairman of Hajj Supreme Committee for direct and continuing follow up of all sectors relating to Hajj services, also praising Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of Hajj Central Committee for following up Hajj works and movements of pilgrims in Holy Sites.
