7th February 2010 - Chittagong to Jeddah sea route for Hajj pilgrims to be resumed
The Bangla Deshi Shipping Ministry is considering offers by private shipping lines to re-open the ferry service for Hajj pilgrims to travel by sea from Chittangong to Jeddah. \"A Hajj trip by ship would cost US$ 850 (Tk 59,075) for each passenger and would take six to seven days on each trip,\" an official has explained.
