12th November 2007 - PIA's First Hajj flight leaves for Jeddah on Wednesday
Islamabad, 12/11/07
The first Hajj flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) carrying 433 intending pilgrims will leave Peshawar for Jeddah on Wednesday (November 14).
National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain and Minister for Religious Affairs Ejazul Haq will see off the intending pilgrims, officials said.
The departure of the first Hajj flight will be the start of a month-long operation to transport 160,000 Pakistani pilgrims to the holy land.
The Hajj flights will also depart for Jeddah from Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Faisalabad.
