Arab News, 20/08/2008
The Saudi authorities are prepared for a vast number of pilgrims, both from abroad and from within the Kingdom, arriving in the Holy City of Makkah during Ramadan.
Chairing a meeting of the Central Haj Committee in Jeddah recently, the Governor of Makkah Prince Khaled Al-Faisal instructed officials to put still greater efforts into improving the services provided for Haj and Umrah pilgrims.
The Mayor of Makkah is overseeing a comprehensive plan to ensure cleanliness and careful monitoring of market prices.
