Saudi Arabian Red Crescent
This is a medical humanitarian society supported by the State which provides it with all it requires to offer emergency medical care in various circumstances.
The Saudi Red Crescent activities reach their peak during the Hajj seasons with its permanent and temporary centers operating in various parts of the Two Holy Cities and the Holy Shrines.
The Red Crescent has 118 centers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the Holy Shrines and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, 28 in land inlets and 176 permanent centers.
1,820 Red Crescent members participate in the society's emergency services, using 331 large ambulances, each equipped to handle two patients at the same time.
