'Kaaba' washing ceremony set for Thursday

On behalf of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah Region will wash Kaaba on Thursday as it is customary every year.

The General President for affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Salih bin Abdulrahman Al-Hassain and his deputy for the affairs of the Holy Mosque in Makkah Sheikh Dr. Mohamed bin Nasser Al-Khazim, will attend Kaaba's washing ceremony. The will also welcome Prince Khalid Al-Faisal on his arrival at the venue of the Holy Mosque.

A number of Islamic Scholars, Ministers and members of the Islamic Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia along with a group of Citizens will also attend the washing ceremony.

This grand Islamic occasion embodies the great care being extended by the leadership of this blessed country to The House of Allah and to the Two Holy Mosques.
