Guidance workshops
The Ministry has for the first time provided four international guidance workshops in the year 1422 H. One in Jordan for the guidance officials in the Arab countries, one in Iran for the guidance officials there, one in Malaysia for the guidance officials in South East Asia, and one in Turkey for the guidance officials therein and in the Central Asian states. These workshops were attended by 211 officials from these regions.
The Ministry is seeking to expand these workshops in preparation for the future Hajj seasons. These workshops aim at establishing practical and systematic rules for guiding pilgrims before their arrival, in respect of rituals, health and environment, and of how to behave in crises and crowding.
