Minister of Hajj praises Cabinet decision to continue Tawafa Organization
Minister of Hajj Dr Fouad al-Farsy has expressed appreciation for the Cabinet's decision on the continuation of Tawafa (perambulation) Organization following a comprehensive study conducted by the Hajj Supreme Committee and its endorsement by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister and Head of the Supreme Hajj Committee.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr al-Farsy said this decision will positively contribute to the promotion of the services being extended to the pilgrims and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque.
The continuation of the Tawafa Organization means getting rid of numerous administrative and field obstacles, he said.
He urged the personnel of the Organization to perform their duty and mission in a manner that meets the aspirations of the rulers.
The Ministry of Hajj will follow up the activities of the Organization to ensure extending the best possible services to he pilgrims, he added.
