King's Gate tunnels

These tunnels connect the Kings Gate yard near the Holy Haram to the land pilgrims car parking in Kudai and Masfalah area. It is one of the biggest tunnels in the world. The project includes underground services and toilets. This project had many technical difficulties as it passes beneath existing tunnels below the Ajyad dam citadel and because the main tunnels are more than 16 m wide.
