Raising Standards of Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities

The Ministry will seek to provide the staff of the Ministry and the local sectors, that serve pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque, with the knowledge, skills and capabilities they need, and in particular:

- know-how pertaining to the aspects of the services that are provided to pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque

- the human capabilities and skills with which those who work in the service sectors should be equipped.

- familiarity with the main languages of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque.

- ability to use computer programs, e-mail and access to the internet

The Ministry will seek to realize the items of this objective through:

- expansion and development of its Training Center

- cooperation with Saudi universities, the Institute of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques for Hajj Research and the private sector companies, in developing specialized programs pertaining to Hajj services

- developing programs for teaching the main languages of the Islamic world in cooperation with the specialized institutes in the Kingdom and abroad

- preparing programs for the development and training of all the Ministry's senior staff
