Mina, 7 Jan 06

British Hajj mission leader Lord Adam Hafez Patel said Hajj had become easier to perform and more comfortable, thanks to the services rendered by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia every year for pilgrims to enable them perform their rituals in comfort and ease.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, he praised the preparations taken to facilitate all Hajj procedures and the provision of all services, including potable water, food and housing.

He also paid tribute to the Hajj-related authorities for their noble treatment offered to a gathering of more than two million in a small area at one time.
