Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) will start tomorrow a weekly flight on a route comprising Riyadh-Jeddah-Madrid-Casablanca. SAA will operate a Boeing 777 for the flight which will accommodate 287 passengers.

SAA’s Executive Assistant Director General for Marketing Abdulaziz Al-Hazmi said that Saudi Arabian Airlines is considering several future steps to increase the number of international flights in response to passengers’ demands.

Al-Hazmi also said that Madrid is the second airport for Saudi Arabian Airlines after Malaga in Spain, adding that the European country has scenic regions and enjoys distinguished relations with Saudi Arabia in all fields.

He added that the presence of Arab-Muslim expatriates in Spain who wish to perform Hajj and Umrah also contribute to increase in flights. "With the joining of Madrid airport to SAA’s flights’ network increases its international destinations including London, Geneva, Frankfort, Paris, Rome and Istanbul," he said.
