Tabuk region readies for pilgrims reception

Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, 3 December 06

With the personal follow up of Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, the Governor of Tabuk region, who is also the General Supervisor of Hajj and Umrah facilitation body at halat Ammar outlet, the government agencies in all sectors completed preparations to receive Hajj and Umrah pilgrims in the city of pilgrims for this year (1427AH -2006).

The city will be opened to pilgrims' batches from Arab and Islamic states and European countries on the 6th of December to serve them ever since the moment of their arrival.

All government departments and agencies are involved in health services and facilitate entry procedures and Customs regulations as well as execute awareness programs to educate pilgrims by providing them with brochures and publications and guiding pilgrims on the routes to the holy places.

Khalifa bin Ajoj Al-Khalifa, the Assistant Under Secretary for security affairs at Tabuk Governorate and the deputy general supervisor of Hajj and Umrah facilitation body said that the City of pilgrims completed all preparations and facilities that will be open on Wednesday.

He also highlighted the completion of all projects that have been implemented in the city of pilgrims.

He emphasized the cooperation of all sectors of the government, both military and civilian. "Moreover, the Governor of Tabuk region is keen on the participation of all government departments in performing their duty well and facilitating the entry of pilgrims and providing them with all the needed services
