Cultural Season For Pilgrims
Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who will perform Hajj this year, have started to arrive in the holy places.
The Secretariat General of Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) has prepared a cultural program on the occasion.
MWL’s Secretary General Dr Abdullah al-Turki said the MWL's Secretariat General has prepared a cultural season for discussing a number of important Islamic issues through lectures due to be delivered by a number of prominent Muslim scholars effective from the fourth of the lunar month of Zil Hajja.
Dr al-Turki said the participants of the cultural season will discuss means for refuting the vicious campaigns launched against Islam and Muslims by certain quarters.
The MWL has asked some Muslim scholars and researchers to prepare working papers for discussion during the cultural season', he said and added a number of topics, including the statement of the Pope of the Vatican, will be discussed.
