Iran hails Saudi efforts and cooperation in granting visas for Iranian pilgrims
The Saudi Embassy in Tehran has completed today the issuance of visas for Iranian pilgrims in accordance with the allocated quota for Iran.
As many as 99,700 Iranian pilgrims will perform Hajj this year under the quota.
The first batch of Iranian pilgrims left for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 5 December. The process of the Iranian pilgrims departure is still continuing through well-organized flight schedules from Iran's 17 airports.
Saudi Ambassador to Iran Osama bin Ahmed Snoussi said the process of Visa Issuance was carried out simultaneously bythe Saudi Embassy in Tehran and its Consulate General in Mashhad. "This process was completed in a record time".
The ambassador noted that the Saudi embassy received the Iranian government's appreciation for their efforts and cooperation to facilitate the granting of visas for Iranian pilgrims.
