MWL Chief opens cultural season for pilgrims

Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr Abdullah al-Turki opened here today the Cultural Season prepared by the League for the pilgrims hosted by it.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Dr Saleh al-Fouzan, the member of the Senior ulema (Islamic Scholars) Commission, shed light on the rituals of Hajj.

Dr al-Fouzan said Hajj provides a good opportunity to turn hearts to Almighty Allah and avoid committing of sins.

it is worth mentioning that the cultural season will continue up to Wednesday, 27 Dec.

Sheikh Abdulaziz al al-Sheikh, the Kingdom's General Mufti, will deliver an Islamic lecture tomorrow.

Dr Abdulrahman al-Sudais, the Imam of the Holy Mosque of Makkah, Ayed al-Karni, the prominent Islamic caller, and Essam al-Basheer, the former Sudanese Minister of Endowments and Guidance, will deliver lectures during the activities of the cultural season.
