Pilgrims move into Mina

Pilgrims chanting 'Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik' (Here I am, my God, here I am' began today moving to Mina. Despite the large numbers of vehicles and pedestrians, the pilgrims moved smoothly to Mina to mark the formal beginning of the Hajj rituals.

Thanks to the excellent arrangements made by the concerned Saudi authorities, and thanks to the excellent road networks, highways, tunnels and bridges, the pilgrims moved to Mina without facing serious difficulties.

The Pilgrims will spend their day and night hours on Thursday in Mina in preparation for leaving for Arafat Friday morning.

All the required services are available, notably the required medical services.

the Health Ministry, the administration of medical services at the National Guard, the armed forces, the internal security forces and the Saudi Red Crescent Society have mobilized their potentialities to provide the pilgrims with all required medical services.

The Ministry of Telecommunications has set up telephone and fax centers to enable the pilgrims contact with their relatives abroad.

Through the reservoirs at Mina and all Holy Places the pilgrims can obtain fresh water without facing difficulties.
