Mina, 28 December 06

Arrival of pilgrims in Mina was completed today. The pilgrims will spend the day and night there and then will head for Arafat Hajj site to stay there tomorrow.

Pilgrims were accompanied by thousands of security men who followed up their movement to Mina through wide roads, highways, tunnels and bridges built by the Saudi Government.

Saudi Press Agency's mission in the Hajj holy sites followed up the journey of pilgrims from Makkah to Mina which was characterized by smoothness despite the large numbers of vehicles and pedestrians, thanks to the efforts of security men.

Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Miqrin bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence and Deputy Governor of Makkah region in Hajj, and other officials followed up the movement of pilgrims to Mina.

Prince Naif and Prince Miqrin continued their instructions to the concerned authorities to do their utmost to serve pilgrims.
