Prince Miqren delivers statement on Hajj

Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, the Chief of General Intelligence and Deputy Governor of Makkah Region in Hajj announced today the success of this Hajj season.

In a press statement, he expressed the appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince for the services and efforts exerted by governmental bodies participating in Hajj and he expressed his appreciation of and thanks to security and other governmental bodies contributing to the success of this Hajj season.

He said that all bodies concerning with pilgrims' services have accordingly implemented their plans, stressing that security and health situation in Hajj has been excellent. No epidemic or contagious diseases have been reported, he noted.

Prince Miqren described services provided to pilgrims in Makkah and the Holy Places in this year's Hajj as distinguished.

He stressed the success of the plan of setting certain times to groups of pilgrims to perform devil-stoning ritual at Jamarat Bridge, affirming the non-occurrence of any congestion or human bloc that affects the safety of pilgrims during the performance of the devil-stoning ritual.

Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz pointed out that the vital projects executed by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and the Holy Places have effectively contributed to the success of this Hajj season particularly the new Jamarat Bridge project as well as development and organization of the area surrounding the bridge.
