Ambassadors underline importance of Hajj

A number of ambassadors who were hosted by Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) to perform Hajj this year underscored, during their meeting here today with the MWL's Secretary General Dr Abdullah al-Turki, the importance of the Hajj season. They lauded the great services being extended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Islam and Muslims.

Kazakhstan's Middle East Regional Ambassador Bagdad Amreyer said the international law contains articles which enable the Muslims to defend their religion which has been facing vicious and biased campaigns.

He noted that Islam advocates justice, coexistence, cooperation, liberty and peace.

For his part Omar Dawara, the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Saudi Arabia, praised the excellent services being extended by Saudi Arabia to the pilgrims. He also hailed the role of the MWL in the service of the Muslims.
