More than 336,000 Arab pilgrims perform Hajj

336,570 pilgrims from the Arab countries performed Hajj rituals this year.

The Arab pilgrims were divided into 111 field service groups, and they were housed in 1,697 buildings near the Holy Mosque of Makkah.

Fayeq bin Mohammed Bayari, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Establishment of the Guides of the Arab Countries' Pilgrims, said 166,406 of these Pilgrims had come via Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport of Madinah, while 156,785 pilgrims had come via King Abdulaziz international airport of Jeddah.

He noted that 13,379 of these pilgrims had come by land.

'All the possible services and facilities were extended to the pilgrims so as to enable them perform their rituals in comfort and ease', he said.
