OIC Health Ministers convene first meeting in Kuala Lumpur

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in the first meeting of the Health Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), starting tomorrow its two-day deliberations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.The Kingdom is scheduled to put forward a working paper entitled "Health Activities and requirements during Hajj Season."Dr Hamad Al-Manei, the Health Minister will lead the Saudi delegation.The meeting will deliberate a number of issues including a vaccine production program, measures in countering Malaria and opting for preventive steps to check the spread of the Bird Flu.The meeting's agenda will also include the signing of a trilateral agreement among the OIC member countries and the World Health Organization (WHO).
