Muslim World League holds press conference
Secretary General of the Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah Alturki thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for his support for the program of "supporting the prophet of mercy" which was established by the League following the increased media campaigns against Islam and the Prophet, peace be upon him.
In a press conference held in Jeddah today on the occasion of the announcement of the names of the winners of the prizes of the competition organized by the League in this regard, Dr. Alturki highlighted the League's efforts to defend Islam and the Prophet, peace be upon him.
Dr. Alturki explained that researchers from 25 countries presented 430 papers to the competition of the program of "supporting the prophet of mercy."
Six researchers from Egypt, India, Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia won the prizes whose total value was 600,000 riyals.
