Makkah Governor and Committee discuss Umrah services

Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah region, discussed here today with Makkah Chamber's committee of Hajj and Umrah, the Umrah (minor pilgrimage) affairs, obstacles and constraints and studies to enhance the facilitation of Umrah services.

They also discussed the issue of the barred Umrah establishments and the future services for Hajj and Umrah in addition to the idea of organizing an annual Umrah Forum to encourage Umrah performers to visit places of Islamic rituals, which in turn, will fetch additional revenue and encourage business and investment opportunities.

Saad Al-Saegh, the Head of the Committee disclosed this in a press statement after the meeting with the Governor of Makkah region. "The Governor promised to study the obstacles hindering the smooth Umrah performance and resolve them," he added.
