Egyptian Tourism Minister Praises Saudi Embassy

Egyptian Tourism Minister Zohair Jaranh praised the great efforts exerted by the Saudi embassy to Egypt in overcoming all obstacles which have hindered the Egyptian tours of Umrah (Minor Pilgrimage) and Hajj .

In a statement published today in Al-Akhbar newspaper on the occasion of World Tourism Day, he commended the great efforts exerted by Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Hisham Mohieddin Nazer, embassy's officials and consuls in Cairo, Alexandria and Suez for supporting Egyptian tourism companies and solving their problems in implementing Umrah programs.

He also lauded the success of the Saudi embassy in issuing 550,000 Umrah visas throughout the year.
