Prince Khalid to inspect the Holy Places

Prince Khalid al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah region, will make tomorrow an inspection tour of the Holy Places to get acquainted with the arrangements made by the authorities concerned with the Hajj affairs for the reception of the pilgrims during this year's Hajj season.

Prince Khalid will start his tour from jamrat zone to get acquainted with the four-phases jamrat project, due to be implemented at total cost of sr 4 billion. The first three phases of the project have been completed while the final and the fourth phase will be implemented by 1429.

Prince Khalid will also inspect the housing units at Mina which have a capacity of about 20,000 persons. The project of the housing units was implemented at a total cost of more than sr 270 million.

Meanwhile, Prince Khalid will inspect King Khalid road which links Mina with Makkah-Taif highway.

He will also inspect the hospital of Jabel al-Rahma which will receive patients during this year's Hajj season along with the hospitals of Arafat, Mina and Makkah.
