Ministry of Culture and Information gears up for Hajj Season
As part of The Ministry of Culture and Information plan to serve foreign media men, the Foreign Information department at the Ministry has established three fully equipped Information Centers in Jeddah, Arafat and Mina as well as setting up committees for housing, public relations and welcoming foreign media people at the airport.
The Foreign Information department has prepared a comprehensive plan to present best services and facilities to the media men who are coming from various parts of the world to cover this year's Hajj season , the Ministry's undersecretary for Foreign Information Dr. Salih bin Mohamed Al-Namlah said in statement to Saudi Press Agency( SPA).
Services presented to Independent Information Quarters that interested in covering the Hajj season are not confined only on the invited guests but also include all Media men, he added.
The number of Foreign media organs participating in covering this year's Hajj season exceeds all expectations due to the increasing international attention given to the Hajj season. These organs include for example, EPA photos, AP, Reuters AFP, FR5 and BBC, as well as many international TV Channels and Newspapers, Al-Namlah elaborated.
