Prince Naif conducts inspection tour of holy sites

Minister of Interior Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, who is also the Chairman of the Higher Hajj Committee, will conduct tomorrow an inspection tour during which he will review the preparations made by government and security sectors to participate in this year's Hajj season.

The tour will begin by inspecting headquarters of Emergency Forces and Security Forces participating in the Hajj season.

Also, He will review some new projects that have been implemented this year to serve the pilgrims.

These projects include the third phase of Jamarat Bridge Project which has a total of four-phases, costing an amount of more than SR 4 billion.

Prince Naif will inspect also the three-phase 'Jabal Al-Rahmah' Hospital which cost more than SR 44 million. Other projects carried out by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs at a total cost of more than SR 1.7 billion will be reviewed by the Interior Minister.

Prince Naif will review the second phase of King Khalid Bridge which cost SR 385 million as well as the Drainage Projects which consist of 3 large dams and a number of underground pipelines.

He will also tour the Project for Fire Extinguishing as well as projects implemented in the past 10 years which cost a total amount of more than SR 16 billion.

Prince Naif will be briefed on the security forces, equipment and projects carried out in the holy sites.

At the end of the tour, he will hold a press conference.

During his tour, he will be accompanied by Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, who is also Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, and a number of princes, ministers and senior officials.
