Record low hospitalized pilgrims reached in this year's Hajj, report

This year's Hajj has witnessed a record low hospitalized pilgrims since 23 years ago, the Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mane'a announced today.

In a statement, he said that hospitals and health centers in Makkah and the sacred places received 43794 patients today as the out-patient clinics provided their services to 39243 patients, out of whom 37017 reported to health utilities in Mina.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health's daily report said 4551 ailing pilgrims benefited from the emergency health services of the hospitals and health centers, out of whom 3196 were in Mina.

The statement said 378 pilgrims were admitted to health utilities in Makkah and sacred places while 287 were discharged after receiving treatment and 1612 were hospitalized in health facilities in Makkah and sacred places today.
