Central Hajj committee daily report

The number of pilgrims who have left the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after performing Hajj this year through land, air and sea ports until yesterday reached 249,127.

As regards the health situation, the daily report issued by the Central Hajj Committee in Makkah Governorate said emergency cases received by Makkah hospitals reached 137,194.

The number of cases treated by the Saudi Red Crescent Society reached 15,094. The total number of in-patients at health sectors reached 12, 512, the treated cases 11720 and the deaths 612.

As regards foodstuffs, the report disclosed that the consumption of bread-loaves during the same period amounted to 100641000, ice-bars 841256, meat of 178200 Sheep, meat of 5575 camels and meat of 4228 cows.

The consumption of Zamzam water in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque amounted to 5014469 liters. The quantities of Zamzam water consumed by the housing units of pilgrims in Makkah amounted to 5097278 cubic meters. The amount of water consumed in Makkah and the holy sites amounted to 15455370 cubic meters. The number of tankers filled with water totals 150375.

The maximum electric power consumption in Makkah and the holy sites reached 1147 megawatts.

The number of the lost pilgrims who had been guided accounted for 17504. The volume of the disposed garbage totaled 111063 tons.

The report also said that the number of beggars arrested totaled 226.

The number of vendors arrested accounted for 1348. Finally, the number of accidents during the same period reached 823.
