Iran's President delivers statement on his invitation to perform Hajj

Iran's President Mahmud Ahmadi Nejad has pointed out that the invitation extended to him by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to perform Hajj rituals this year is a step on the way of enhancing Islamic solidarity.

In a statement to reporters following Iranian cabinet's meeting today, he said that he had discussed with the Monarch various issues pertaining to bilateral relations between the two countries and regional and international developments.

The Iranian President stressed that the participation of the Iranian delegation in Hajj rituals this year is considered as promotion of relations and reflection of the solidarity of the Islamic nation.
