Makkah Governorate gets record SR 925.035 Million projects

The total budget allocations for the Governorate of Makkah city for the current fiscal year 1428/1429 AH has reached SR 925.035 Million, which is considered as the highest budget in the history of the Governorate.

The Mayor of Makkah city Dr. Osama bin fazil Al-Bar clarified that the projects of maintenance programs come under section three of the budget, costing SR 338.240 Million. These programs cover maintenance of streets, asphalting, cleaning, periodic maintenance of lighting systems, floods-drainage networks, public facilities and tunnels in all regions of the Makkah city.

Under the Fourth section of the Budget, he said new projects of the Governorate are allocated an amount of SR 358.700 Million, which will cover blue-prints of plots, establishment of a number of graveyards and dead-bodies' washing rooms, implementation of new floods-drainage networks and construction of roads in the city's nearby villages.
