Hajj flights to start Oct 31 (DS)

It was decided yesterday, at an inter-ministerial meeting, that this year's hajj flights will begin on October 31.
A press release by the religious affairs ministry said that at 4:00pm on October 31, a Boeing-747 aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd will fly from Dhaka to Saudi Arabia carrying 542 hajj pilgrims. It is expected that Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed will inaugurate the Hajj flight.
