Toll free number to help pilgrims

Saudi Gazette, 11/11/2008

The Ministry of Hajj has alerted pilgrims to unauthorised Hajj operators.

In a bid to prevent pilgrims from being cheated, a Hajj service centre has been set up in Jeddah by the Ministry whereby pilgrims can check on Hajj operators before they make a booking. The service is accessible by calling a toll free number: 8002444480.

The toll free service began on Monday and will run through until the Hajj in early December. It is operated 16 hours a day and provides office locations and telephone numbers of Hajj operators in addition to their branches at the ritual sites.
